As a "Green Company", Office Remix prides itself on refurbishing recycled office furniture to meet even the most exacting customer specifications at the least possible cost. Often the finished products are as good as the original. Unfortunately, this does not always apply to locks and keys.
While perhaps seeming trivial on the surface, the reality of lock abuse from years of service, lost keys, and other issues, creates additional repair expenses. Since budget is a concern for most of our customers, Office Remix offers lock repair and key manufacturing, when necessary, as an optional item. We are also more than happy to work with our customers’ own locksmith, if requested.
That said, working keys will be provided for lockable furniture (e.g. file cabinets, credenzas, desks) under the following conditions:
- An original existing working key is available.
- The installed lock is in good working condition.
